Pros

The GM is AMAZING! Rob Shields goes above and beyond for this company and he is a very humble man. When help is needed he jumps right in no questions asked. He always listens to understand. He is a true asset to this company.

Cons

Not enough compensation for the amount of work. Frowned upon to take PTO.

Pros

In store GM, and management team is great. Everyone above, not so much. There used to be company work outings, team building experiences, a large Christmas party, profit sharing, and generally a better place to buy a car. All of the above is gone.

Cons

The company runs day to day as a small, “mom and pop” type of company, albeit with a corporate backing. The executive leadership team is running the same playbook from CarSense glory days when vehicles were purchased from auction with a good margin. Now vehicles are purchased with a slim margin, if not even sold for a loss, still requiring proper recon. These vehicles now get less attention, as the various departments are under constant scrutiny to keep costs down. The end product is a vehicle that is supposed to be free of any cosmetic imperfections, however they are there. Your sales goals are set based off of the previous years goals (that were not hit), not based off of what you sold in the previous year. Every measurable is constantly under a microscope. You feel as is you are constantly defending yourself. There is no pay scale for any position. The person doing the same job as you, will be making a different, and possibly much higher salary than you.
