They care a lot about their employees. They put safety first, and make sure you are never in harms way. If you're willing to put in the effort, there are advancement opportunities within the company.

Cons

Very strict on being efficient. Often found myself struggling to find something to do whenever my machine would go down. People get sent home nightly. People are drafted on the weekends. I've worked 56 hour weeks.

I waited over a year to review, but honestly still can't say anything positive about Berry other than they RIF'ed about 20 of us and we're all happier with our new employers. All of us. So thanks to Berry for that

Cons

Management in Evansville doesn't understand the business of their acquisitions and looks solely at how to generate cash at the expense of customers, people and reputation. They don't want anyone who will question their way of doing things, even if the company reputation suffers. Capital improvements are for others, they want to spend money on new acquisitions.
