Pros

They started to recognize the extra efforts put in by customer service representatives.

Cons

The high up management at my location was sexist, and regularly told the people in my position how invaluable we were. We had to have multiple meetings with management due to the conflict between the two and the lack of respect to employees from management. Males were in the high offices and made it abundantly clear that women would never be in a high position. For a woman to get into sales, in our office, she would only be given cheerleading/dance. The condescending nature of the men in the office was too much to handle as a college graduate who was in my first job and could run circles around the sales team in any computer program. In my opinion, they lost a lot of good employees due to the constant derogatory comments from males in the office.

Pros

Pay could be better, but don't expect a raise, but every other year and then don't expect much.

Cons

I applaud the person who wrote the previous comment, If more employees, past and present, wrote about their work experience with BSN, the companies rating would go from a 3.5 to maybe a 1

Pros

They are growing fast; but clearly don't have the infrastructure to support it.

Cons

I just came to BSN through an acquisition and they had all the sales reps out to a conference in Dallas to welcome us. But their racist/sexist culture quickly became apparent and a complete turn off. They played a video that was "a day in the life of a sales rep" and the female secretary was portrayed as a baby factory, the maintenance workers were lazy Mexicans, and they literally showed the CEO sitting on a toilet, pants down, legs wide open, and his privates blurred out. No one could believe the unprofessionalism and inappropriateness. Just put up a sign that says "BOYS Club, no women allowed." They didn't let one woman or non-white person on the stage the entire conference. Their executive leadership is 100% white men. Even the President told some an incredibly inappropriate story about tampons and another painfully long story about Playboy. Not to mention their insurance is robbery! My cost of insurance is doubling (from $400 to $800!) and they don't even pay sales reps T&E. This place is straight out of the South in the 1950's. AVOID.

Thank you for your feedback concerning the Sales Conference. While we take issue with your characterization of our company, we don’t deny that you feel that way and will continually strive to improve.
