Pros

This is the BEST field service job I have ever had. You get to do what needs to be done. They provide the vehicle and you provide the tools. Management sets the goals and service gets to meet them. Occasionally you get to go to a semi-formal training class held by the company. Networking with other Atlas Copco mechanics will enable you to find the answers to technical problems you need answers for in order to complete repairs. Turn in your paperwork on time, get your assignments completed, show up to work on time and life is good. And if you DO Increase sales, repeatedly, throughout your career, the company will love you.

Cons

If you cost them a customer, they will never forget. You cannot point out their "Pink Elephant" (why the plan will not work, especially if it involves sales or commission). They think you can repeatedly reduce the cost of transportation and still get a better service doing it.

Pros

Great benefits and decent pay. Very good opportunities and global security. I also have an excellent boss.

Cons

Major communication issues between the different levels of the totem pole.
