Engaged colleagues but badly paid

Pros

Engaged and lovely colleagues Easy to get a good knowledge of the whole business Close to market You are not expected to work at night. When you go home a 4 or 5 pm, you are not expected to check you email or answer your phone, which improves work life balance.

Cons

The departments are not closely connected and sometimes, there is even competition in between them, even though we strive for the same organisational goals Quite low salery Low option to grow in your role - very difficult to be hired in a position that is at a higher level than your current one No bonus or acknowledgement of contiously hard work. If salery is low, at least it should be possible to receive a bonus. Management is too far from the field - have no idea what is going on with their employees
