Pros

It's not just standing behind a till taking money from customers. There are so many more things involved. For example, selling and making reservations, processing refunds and exchanges, offering COVER to protect items that are purchased. Offering Argos cards to help customers afford items they need. Ordering items for home delivery, and many more processes.

Cons

There aren't any real negative points about working for Argos, even when your contract is only for Ten Hours they usually give you more than that.

Pros

Great sense of teamwork, great company values, good staff discount scheme at both argos and homebase. Above national minimum wage to boot.

Cons

To be honest the main downside to working at argos is the lack of overtime all year round and the 5/7 contract with weekends still at flat rate
