      The company is a nice place to work for, the job you do make you proud because it help's save lives.

      Pros

      The company has flex times, where your not always working earlies or lates. The company will work with you when you need certain times or days. It's a nice company to work for.

      Cons

      Some times the traveling can get hectic, some of the coworkers can be difficults to work with, some are willing to help you others are not. The majority of the manager are nice and helpful.

      Make a difference in the lives we touch...no mostly through community referals Close to home easy travel route compassionate fellow workers

      Cons

      Reduce what we provide clients. No raises for several , years, not even cost of living, grave reduction in benifits resulting in a significant out of pocket deductables

      Pros

      The best reason to work at the Red Cross is the sense of satisfaction that you get knowing that you - in some small way - helped to improve someone else's life.

      Cons

      Like most large non-profits, it suffers from intense bureaucracy that is perpetuated by an "old guard" middle- and upper-management. Most of these directors / managers are ill-equipped to innovate and change business practices largely because of poor emphasis on professional development. Additionally, those that do seek to innovate and change quickly leave - either because of the organizational conflict they stir up or out of frustration.
