Amazon Robotics Software Development Engineer (SDE) II reviews

No meaningful perks, not even free prime membership, just a nominal discount on Amazon purchases capped at $100. The scope of work for my team was too small to allow for real growth in AR. For the last year there haven't been real opportunities to move anywhere in Amazon. Nearly all SDE positions require you to live in big cities, not everyone likes that, doesn't feel great for having a family and pets. Management has additional rules that are not published that must be met for promotions. Corporate policies don't currently earn trust. Most employees seem bitter now towards corporate culture. Elevators frequently have messages voicing employee dissatisfaction with corporate policy.

Very poor WLB. They expect to give blood and sweat to job. Most of the team members work close 55-60 hours each week continuously.
