The WORST DMs there will ever be!

Pros

- classes cancelled by students are still paid (it should be! because you still made an effort to wait for the student) - schedules are provided a week before so if you have plans for next week, you can just decide not to plot a schedule. - easy and organized learning materials

Cons

- the DMs are unresponsive. - when there's a technical issue, expect that you'll be the one to blame. therefore, expect that there will be a salary deduction. - salary deduction is too much. if you have 2 classes in one hour and you missed one class, you will still pay the whole hour. - i just had a concern recently, a student cannot hear me using the tool that they provided and so we just communicated by chatting inside that tool. my DM marked it as a tutor's problem even if it's a completed class (by chat). And her reason is because I have a problem with my internet. WTF?! How can I have a problem with my internet if I was able to chat with the student inside the web tool?

Pros

Students are active and participate in the lessons, but they don't give good feedback . At first the staff are accommodating.

Cons

LOW SALARY AND NO INCREASE. The salary is low and it's hard to increase your salary even you're already a long-term teacher with them, because you have to get a certain no. of points. For every good feedback from your student, you earn 1 point, but it's very rare that students give positive feedback even they seem to be satisfied with your class. That's how hard to earn a point. NOT FLEXIBLE SCHED You have to give them your a-week schedule ahead of time, so if you have real emergency , you cannot cancel the class, otherwise they will penalized you , they will not be considerate enough to understand the situtation. and they have HIGH SALARY DEDUCTION DURING CANCELLATION OF CLASSES. Please atleast be considerate on the fortuitous events that might happen for the teachers. YOU CAN ONLY OPEN SLOTS BASED ON YOUR BOOKING RATE. If you have a low booking rate even if it's not your fault, they will still cut off your working hours. If you got a "below 80%" booking rate, you will not be able to open slots for 3days to 1week. The problem is when the students cancel, their tendency is to lessen your book ratings for the next week. TEACHING MATERIAL NOT APPROPRIATE (sometimes) Although teaching material is given to you, it's often the wrong level for the student and you are unable to provide an alternative. STAFF are not so ACCOMMODATING. Most of the Chinese TMs are unresponsive and lacks empathy.

Pros

- Weekly plotting of schedule (it means you can have a vacation whenever you like) - Daily payslip which is updated everd 12 am. - Good trainers - Many adult students (if you dont prefer teaching kids) - Some of the materials are simple and easy to master. - Teacher's dashboard can be access with any browser, as well as the payslip, ratings, etc. - No need to wear a uniform or even put a back drop behind you, at least for now. - 1k php bonus per cut off if you completed 60 hours of teaching time and a perfect attendance.

Cons

- Low hourly rate. - Hourly rate can increase, but it takes a long time since they are gauging it through your performance such as number of completed classes, good ratings, etc which is +1 point per 5 completed classes and +1 point for 5 star good rating. - Bad rating will lead to -5 points even thou it is not your fault. LOL - Not affiliated to any banks here in the Phillipines, payment is through Paypal. - Supports and even managers has poor spoken and written english thus leading to misunderstanding.
