Advancement opportunities are biased, managers play favorites, wages are very low and do not reflect amount of work expected of the positions, negative atmosphere.
Management will often discipline associates who stand around and talk instead of working, but this is never taken seriously as the management staff does the exact same thing. If you aren't personally liked by your manager, you might as well find another job, because they are very biased and if they don't like you they will cut your hours and overlook you when advancement opportunities arise, no matter how long you've been working there or how good a job you did. There is also a lot of negativity not only between managers and associates, but between managers as well. Store morale suffers a lot when everyone refuses to get along.
