Pros

Some nice people, opportunity to move around accounts

Cons

lots of ex-recruiters all trying to clamber up the greasy pole and will step all over the weaker ones. A shame, a lot of good people leave.

Pros

There's a good work/life balance, along with great management that wants you to improve and to grow at the company

Cons

Pay is a bit low, but still good. Nothing else follows into a Con at this time. Company looks to be moving in the right direction.

Pros

- Great PTO plan - Flexibility to work remotely

Cons

- Extremely poor leadership. AMS is having a very difficult time attracting talent in the US as they are a UK based company. Because of this they are prompting children into roles that they are not remotely qualified for or are hiring " diversity candidates" with a banking backgrounds. If you walk in the door and you are a female with an exotic name and you have worked at Key Bank I think you will have an offer to start withing 10 minutes of starting the interview. - High School Politics- Its almost hard to describe unless you have been there. The culture at AMS is very clicky and its all about " who you know ". It is very common to see upper management favoring employees and even to the point of some of them taking selfies at the bar and posting to social media sites. - Poor Business Model- Because AMS cannot recruit talented recruiters nor keep ones within the organization they have resorted to hiring " foundation " employees. This is a way for them to hire 20 year olds for near sweat shop labor salaries and jump them from account to account while they buy time to figure out how to run a company.
