Hmm... where to start... Virtually NO training for vital tasks such as using the extremely complicated and cumbersome LIMS, focus on hours worked, not quality or amount of work produced, benefits are not very good and getting much more expensive, entrenched bureaucracy of long-time employees with little to no exposure to other companies, lab director allows managers to run their departments wildly differently, seasonal work means forced use of vacation time during winter paid if you want your full paycheck.

No training on chemistry performed or appropriate safety. Skills needed are never trained, but must be acquired from outside by hiring someone else. Turnover on the entry level is very high due to a long entrenched management team that is way over payed.
