We are building our finance team with a Senior Accountant focused on monthly US GAAP accounting and close activities for assigned entities and processes. You will ensure correct and timely postings in SAP, prepare reconciliations and variance insights, and support audits and process enhancements while working within established procedures. Responsibilities

• Process US GAAP bookkeeping for assigned entities and accounting areas, including accruals, prepayments, and regular close activities
• Carry out monthly close tasks in SAP in line with documented procedures and deadlines
• Produce balance sheet reconciliations and prepare profit & loss variance explanations for assigned scope
• Validate source documents and accounting attributes before posting or pre-upload to SAP, including tax code and support package completeness
• Compute and prepare accrual and prepayment adjustments using system data, trend analysis, and supporting documentation
• Detect and resolve posting issues between other company’s operational systems and SAP within assigned scope
• Analyze irregular or unusual transactions and recommend appropriate accounting treatment for review by senior team members or management
• Liaise with local accountants, business contacts, and other finance teams to clarify issues and complete close activities on time
• Support third party accounting providers with required data for local accounting purposes
• Fulfill internal and external audit requests by providing explanations, reconciliations, and supporting documents
• Assist with process improvement, including testing and implementation of system or workflow changes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international environment
• Good understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles
• Practical SAP experience or exposure to another ERP system for accounting operations
• Advanced Excel capability for reconciliations and supporting calculations
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work independently within defined procedures
• Good written and spoken English communication (B1+ level or higher)
