The Central Operations Team Planner (Meetings & Events) as a part of M&E Planning Central of Excellence supports the planning, operations and delivery of global Meetings & Events through a centralized, process-driven operating model.
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and supporting the end-to-end event lifecycle - including event qualification, budget estimation, approval management, logistical planning, stakeholder management, and post-event reconciliation - ensuring utmost adherence to policy guidelines, compliance and accuracy, financial discipline, and data integrity across Market Units.
Acting as a key operational partner, the M&E Central Ops Planner collaborates with Market Units, local Event Planners and internal stakeholders to ensure an operationally effective approach, accurate data management and consistent alignment with processes and organizational standards. The role also plays a critical part in enhancing cross-regional visibility, governance, and reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage incoming event requests into M&E, validate data, qualify requirements through the Policy lens and guide requestors throughout the process.

Support venue sourcing / collaborate with P+ on the sourcing needs, focus on sustainability and maintain accurate event status at all times.

Coordinate planning activities including budget tracking, purchase orders and travel or additional approvals, ensuring alignment with guidelines.

Provide stakeholder support and timely issue escalation management to ensure consistent and satisfactory delivery across Market Units.

Own and oversee event closure activities, including financial reconciliation, invoice tracking, audit support and data accuracy in reporting systems.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-
Event Technology Experience (preferably Cvent, StarCite, Eved, Delphi, Opera, etc.)

Active meetings management experience in a multinational organization for a minimum of 3 to 4 years
-
Solid understanding of Strategic Meetings Management concepts

Event Planning, Venue Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management, Event Budget Management, Attendee Management, On-Site Event Execution
-
Fluent English (written and spoken)

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Knowledge of the hospitality industry

Proficiency in additional languages is highly valued (e.g. Portuguese, French, German, Italian, etc.)
