Primary ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Accounting

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
• Record daily financial transactions.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain supporting documentation for all accounting transactions.

Payroll & Compliance

• Process payroll accurately and on time (where applicable).
• Maintain employee payment records.
• Assist in preparing financial information for tax filings and audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare Profit & Loss statements.
• Prepare Balance Sheets.
• Monitor cash flow.
• Generate customized financial reports for management.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Software & Systems

• Work with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
• Maintain accounting records in cloud-based systems.
• Manage digital filing and bookkeeping documentation.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with management and external accountants.
• Communicate professionally with clients when required.
• Meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Formal bookkeeping or accounting training/certification preferred.
• CPA/CA qualification is NOT required.
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
• Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience supporting international businesses is an advantage.
