During the preliminary 30 minute interview the HR rep quizzed me on the Auditor general. She asked to name 5 things that they do, 5 types of clients, and list recent company news. Then asked a bunch of typical behavioral questions (Strengths, weaknesses etc.) felt very clinical and awkward.
What was the hardest class I took in the accounting program.
1. How is your excel knowledge?
Interview was fairly easy. Very laid back. Questions ranged from what kind of work environment do you prefer to specifics about past jobs. Since this is an audit job, they asked about previous finance/accounting experience as well as any retail experience (they audit retail stores).
