No question was difficult. But everyone seemed apathetic. If they already found their best fit, they should have cancelled the interview with me and not waste my time. Plus, a letter, email or phone call would have been nice to let me know that I was not selected. I expected them to be more professional.

Q1: Why were you laid off?
Traverse a 4x4 array of number 1-16, but in spiral fashion going from outermost to innermost. Write the code for it. Its easy if you are doing this on a weekend and thinking through this, but to get it 100% correct in an interview, they must be really stupid to use this as a qualifier question, for software qa engineer?
During one point of the interview they come over and create a "hypothetical" situation in which a client is unhappy about something on their website. You are to look into the issue and report what the issues are. After I was able to find a number of "issues", they provided 0 feedback.
How do you decide what goes into production and what does not with minimal time to test.
