This was an IQ test, similar to those found by one wanting to enter the Mensa Society. The most irrelevant assessment for sales I have ever seen. I have always been a top performer selling any product. This assessment is by no means worth the time and does not properly vet qualified sales people. Completely rediculous.
They asked a lot of situational questions. Like “ how would you react in this scenario”?
Tell me how you approached customers in your last sales position.
What is my available start day?
Are you willing to grind and work weekends?
How would you defuse a disgruntled customer?
Where do you see yourself ultimately in this company?
Would you be ok to clean the washroom and the showroom as a sales representative.
Give me an example of how you saved a potential cancellation account.
"Compare and contrast a sale you won with a sale you lost."
