How I would handle a client who was upset or angry. It was unexpected because the job that I was applying for was described as mostly data entry and I did not know that I would be speaking with patients/clients (over the phone)
Even more concerning, they asked me to provide names of other companies or professionals working in the same space, essentially asking me to share insider or competitive information—something no ethical employer should ask of a candidate. This felt more like data collection than a genuine hiring process. Although I completed every step and fulfilled every request, the tone of the communication became increasingly unprofessional, and ultimately, I was ghosted without closure. The way the process was handled—especially given the sensitive nature of their work—was not only disappointing, it was concerning.
