Why do you want to join in VLSI field?
At first interview asked to explain two of my major projects. After that he came to his domain which was physical design and STA. He started with some questions related to STA, what is time borrowing? Whether it will effect hold time or not? Draw D-Latch and D-ff using transmission gates and show set up and hold time in it. Then he asked to explain the ASIC design flow. and asked questions from floorplanning, placement, routing, and clock tree synthesis. Overall Interview went for 1.5hrs and difficulty level was moderate to tough. It was a very good experience and finally got selected.
