There was a phone interview and then a skills test and a 1 on 1 interview. After the 1 on 1 I had to submit 5 references for them to email a questionnaire, and they needed all 5 questionarres back. The process took 2 months. By the time they called and offered me the position I had already found another job.

I put in a resume a the Joint Statistical meetings held the first week of August. I was called by the director of the department at eBay. I had a 1/2 hour interview then was invited to the interview site for more questions. I had 5 hours of one on one questioning. I was turned down because I did not have enough real world customer experience. The interviews were pleasant and relaxing. Some technical questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at eBay in Aug 2011
Interview
Three rounds of phone interviews (did not pass 3rd round). Was first contacted by a Senior Product Manager to set up an initial phone interview followed by a Dev. Manager a week later. The VP of PM was the last interviewer. The whole process from the first phone interview to the hiring decision took roughly more than five weeks. Each interviewer did a great job of explaining the group and expectations of the role.
