The process took 1 week. I interviewed at eBay in Feb 2012
Interview
The position was Traffic PM and involved driving traffic to ebay's website from various channels. I got a call from the recruiter to schedule the interview. I was expecting a behavioral interview but the interviewer went into every detail in my resume. He asked about a small business I had built, and played the devil's advocate. He challenged my strategies and asked me how I would react if a competitor tries to explore my space. He also asked me questions like how we can improve ebay. I talked about improving search, and gave him a suggestion. He asked me how I would implement it. I think I did well but didn't receive an offer. I asked for my interviewer's feedback, which was really helpful. It was a great experience. The overall process was pretty fast; I interviewed on a Friday, and was told the result on the next Monday.

Question 1
How would you go about improving ebay's current search algorithm
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at eBay in Feb 2010
Interview
I was asked to apply for the level of sales I wanted. I had to prove myself to be able to sell more items that typically were very hard to get to sell because of fraudulent sellers on the site. After waiting for what seemed like ever, and after writing letter after letter appealing my declination, they finally approved me to sell the exact goods I wanted.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at eBay (Austin, TX) in Sep 2011
Interview
It was pretty normal. The question were decent enough for a new college graduate to answer. The best thing about the interview process was the technical coding session where you are asked to create an application based on their requirement in around 1:30 hours. Generally, you may not be able to complete it, and they even dont expect you to complete. They look for your skills on using right OOP classes and design patterns.
