If you are an animal, what do you want to be? And why?
A couple of scenario questions, e.g. how might you evaluate why certain users churn morn, what research approaches/analyses would you conduct, etc.
How would you support other teams?
Upon joining the call, the HM jumped right into the hypothetical research scenario and asked me to talk out loud about how I'd go about it. As absurd as the scenario was, the HM didn't take any time and effort to know about me as a researcher. I knew I wasn't going to move forward, but the worst part was getting the rejection email on Sat evening when I was enjoying dinner outside with lovely friends. So many red flags.
What brought you to UX?
No questions were that difficult but the online Intelligence quiz was a little un-nerving
just general interview questions I had. expected more technical focused though.
Assume you are an Amazon engineer, the review scores of amazon items are sometimes biased, because people usually give a score only if they strongly like it or strongly dislike it. How would you know if the review score of a given item is biased or not?
I won’t divulge specifics but there were no surprises. We had in depth technical discussions about qualitative and quantitative research, approach to research and design.
