Went to a job fair in a hotel in New York City and had a group interview. I'm assuming they interviewed a group once a hour. About 20-25 young people (mostly women) showed up in stylish atire. Divided into a groups of 8 and the store manager asked us about two questions each about our availability and why we want to work for Zaras. Answered as detailed as possible. Said they will get back to us via phone call the next day.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Zara (New York, NY) in Sep 2013
Interview
I saw an ad on craiglist for an open house, so I went. there were about maybe 60 people there and they give you and application to fill out and you just basically wait to get interviewed. the moved the 60 of us into a larger room where the interview started. they collected the applications and went around the room one by one and asked "why zara?" and about our availability. they mostly want people to be available on the weekends. it took forever considering it was 60 people. after that they told us they would call or email people for a second interview. I haven't gotten anything.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Zara
Interview
It was recruitment event with a group interview. They gather ten people at a time. We sat in a circle and the hiring person went around candidates one by one. Each person gets to talk about their background, then was asked a question or two. They have loud music going on in the background.
