The interview was a group interview. Took about 2 hrs and was pretty fun actually.
After the interview we were told that the people who are successful will be contacted. I got an email days later saying I have been successful however there is no work available right now.
It’s been 2 months since my interview, I have followed
up with them many times and still no job.
The most annoying thing is that they constantly tell you they will get back to you EVERY TIME and they never do! They sell you the dream that you are in the running or at least on a wait list and that’s probably not the case, they are no longer considering your application. Was really annoyed because I needed the job and they kept my hopes up!
I’ve given up now.
Online group interview with the HR director. The questions were quite casual. Asked about how’s my life going in Sydney, self-introduction, nothing related to jobs in fact. After the interview I was invited to the store, as a training day.

Very easy and approachable. The manager was nice and asked a few questions about the former experience in retail environment, when I said I had none she accepted with grace and tried to figure out my strengths/weaknesses
