In Wipro WILP’s interview section—selected candidates (typically within 5 to 10 days of clearing the online assessment and voice‐test rounds) face a single 1:1 video call session on platforms superset. This is a combined Technical plus HR (TR + HR) round that generally lasts 20 to 30 minutes.
The session begins with a brief self‐introduction before the interviewer transitions into the technical segment, comprising about 8–12 questions total split roughly 50:50 between technical and behavioral content.
Technical questions test fundamentals of programming (e.g. write code to check even/odd or swap numbers without a third variable), OOPS concepts (such as inheritance vs. overloading), basic SQL/database (like primary key or SELECT * FROM table), and will always include 1‑2 questions on your project or resume to probe familiarity with your designs and challenges faced in development.
After covering technical topics, the interviewer moves to the HR phase, which explores your motivation and fit for WILP: why you chose this program, your comfort with the 5‑year service bond, readiness to relocate, and how you plan to balance work and studies. Behavioral questions (e.g. teamwork, handling pressure) and alignment with Wipro values are assessed here. Examples include: “Tell me about yourself,” “Give a strength and a weakness,” “How do you balance tasks under pressure,” or situational queries like “What would you do in a conflict with team members?”
The emphasis throughout the interview is on clarity of thought, confidence in communication, and a grounded knowledge of your resume/projects. While the technical part is expected to be easy to moderate, combining both your coding clarity and business consciousness, the HR side looks for sincerity, a willingness to adhere to the WILP structure, and readiness for Wipro’s corporate culture. In essence, this round is designed to gauge both your technical aptitude and your potential as a long‑term WILP scholar‑trainee at Wipro.
