When a customer comes in looking for, say, a bra, you can suggest that she also purchase the matching panties, maybe a tshirt or pants that would go with the look, and maybe a perfume. By suggesting other items, you create a sense of completeness or the idea that you are creating a "wardrobe" for the customer. I believe this is also known as upselling. As I mentioned before, I didn't answer this question even though I thought I knew it. Don't be afraid to throw a guess out there! In this case, nobody answered, and the interviewer just told us what it meant.
