Question 1
What operations strategy would you suggest for the sheet sets at Wayfair?
HR screen, case, final round with manager. If you can do normal Excel formulas like XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and know basic algebra, you will be fine. Pretty normal interview questions overall

Interview
I received an email from a recruiter that they were interested in speaking with me about my application. I assumed it would be a high-level with a recruiter to confirm my background before proceeding to more formal interviews. I scheduled the interview via Calendly and was surprised to arrive to a case interview with a senior member of the team (via Google Meet). At this point I know virtually nothing about the role apart from the job posting, which also excludes salary range (illegal in MA), and had not prepared for this. I explained that I was not warned it was a case interview when we were done and she was super apologetic, but it did not remove the awkwardness from the situation. I decided that this role was not the right fit for other reasons, which could have been discovered in a less stressful situation if I had spoken with a recruiter first. I was interested in other open positions, but this experience soured it for me.

Question 1
They asked questions such as; "Identify the two areas that require the most improvement/intervention for the supplier and why", "Calculate the gross profit margin and explain your formula for doing so"; "In less than one minute, tell the CEO your recommendations for what the supplier needs to do to reduce damaged item ratings and how that translates to higher profits"
