I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (North Las Vegas, NV) in Mar 2013
Interview
The first phone call I received, was from a female supervisor that left me a message on my voice mail. She said that she received my application and if I was still interested in a position to give her a call. However when I called back and asked to speak with the lady that left the message she was unavailable several times. When I finally made contact with her, she did not remember calling or leaving me a message. She stated that she would have to find my application and call me back. over a week later she called me back and denied even calling me. Even though I had a voice mail recording with her name and position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the process, the most unexpected or difficult questions were the ones that related to situation awareness. i.e. What would I do if another employee was always hard to work with and wasn't a team player? They wanted to know how I would handle this employee and certain situations. Would I try to work with the person and resolve the problems on my own or would I take it to management and let them deal with it. Being that my employment background consists mainly of the military, I explained how I would handle the situation and they did not like my answer.
