I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart in Oct 2023
Interview
Pretty easy & straight forward process. Submitted app, completed assessment, brief 20 minute phone screen with the HRBP; Depending on goodness of fit with background and role they will then schedule interview 1-2 weeks out. 1st interview is panel with HR and 1 or 2 Sr stakeholders. Result of 1st interview will dictate progression into next round and will be notified within 5 days. 2nd interview will be panel with hr, site lead, and direct manager. After each interview they then open up the discussion for any potential questions you may have. Both were done virtually via Zoom If all interviews go well, offer letter will be sent within 5 days.

1. "Tell me about a time you were not satisfied with your own performance and what did you learn from the situation?" 2. "Tell me about a time when you identified a creative solution to a project." 3. "Tell me about a time you had to give feedback to one of your direct reports." 4. "Tell me about a time where you were able to leverage and promote diverse ideas from a group that contributed to positive outcomes."
Phone call, then interview with AGM HR, then with Site Lead and HR. I was pretty straight forward in that regard just ensuring that each step was made in alignment with my schedule.
I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Altoona, PA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Start by introducing yourself then they ask four to nine questions. Afterwards you are given the opportunity to ask questions about the job or company. They will follow up in a week or two and explain the outcome of the interview.
I got a referral, and HR scheduled the interview for the very next day. It was pretty straightforward. The recruiter called me from the store she was working at via Zoom, but she likely ran out of free Zoom minutes and switched to a phone call shortly after. She introduced herself and explained the job responsibilities before handing it over to me for a quick self-introduction. Most of the questions focused on my past experiences, especially around managing associates and my communication skills.
