I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Walmart (San Antonio, TX) in Mar 2016
Interview
Reviewed my resume and told me I had the job. Later to find out I did not have the job BUT I could work up to it. I felt stupid because I had another job opportunity and lost it. I am always questioning the employees that they pick for the leadership roles. Some are young and inexperienced on how to deal with employees, others are older and just do nothing. In the mean time the employees that are trying to work and move up the ladder are being ignored and not offered raises.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Smithfield, NC) in Mar 2016
Interview
I was called at my current job because my resume was posted on Monster. An assistant manager called my office and told me to come in for an interview and that they liked my resume and what I had to offer. The interview was very short only asked one question, she didnt care to question my past job experiences. I have a college degree so she says "your education speaks for you".
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Jackson, MI) in Jun 2012
Interview
The interview process can take a little while. You initially have two interviews for any position you apply for. I was first interviewed by a hourly supervisor then was interviewed by a salaried member of management. Sometimes the HR supervisor does the interviewing if another manager is not available. The process is not hard at all just time consuming.
