The interview process is pretty standard. They call you and set up a time to be interviewed by your direct supervisor. They will have a list of standard questions that they will rate you on a scale of 1-5. From there it seems that they go more off of how your interact with the person interviewing you.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Fulton, MO) in Jul 2012
Interview
You only do one interview for this position. You are asked basic questions such as describing a time when you have been faced with a difficult situation and how did you handle it. They also give you situations based around customers and ask you how you would choose to deal with it.

Question 1
The hardest question for me was being asked how I would deal with a verbally abusive customer. In the eyes of Wal-Mart, the customers are always right and we give them their way. I do not believe that is fair. None of us are paid enough to take that type of abuse and those types of customers should be removed from the store.

Interview
i walked into the hiring center, had 2 interviews waited on a reference check and walked out with a drug screening. There were a lot of positions available since it was a brand new store. I was hoping to work as a department manager but since I had worked as a CSM before. That is one thing that I would want to have them change is allowing people to learn different areas of the store.
