I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Sacramento, CA) in Oct 2009
Interview
They usually do interviews of groups down in the mall caffeteria area. They will ask you on your knowledge about the company or background, any experience in retail youve had, any loss prevention encounters, leadership skills or roles, and how you are with customer service. They will also ask you a little about your roles from previous employers and how you function in groups or on an individual learning process.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What was your experience with theft and how did you contribute to defer it if any?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
