I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2020
Interview
Email, phone call, coding test, 5 - 1 hr interviews all online
Very confusing and frustrating. Started out well and did not get the first job. The issue was that I did not get the job because of a lack of a certain skill. They knew this before I interviewed. So why interview? Then I was set up on another interview as they liked me as a candidate. Call went well, but I think we both knew it was not a good fit. Then I was supposed to interview again and although I appreciated them trying to find a place for me, it was frustrating because I didn't get job descriptions nor context and really did not understand what was going on. I pulled myself out before the third interview. I could not manufacture skills and it all seemed a waste of time. Although everyone said that they did not need certain skills, that's the reason I was given. Recruiter was nice, but tough to work with. I wrote them my concerns and left the process after a month in the system.

Question 1
What was your biggest technical challenge so far, describe in detail?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unity
Interview
The first round was with recruiter where they explained about the job and the position they are hiring and why you will be a good fit. Afterwards the second round was with the hiring manager. It was a video interview due to covid. It was a pleasant discussion about the processes within the company and the tools you have worked on earlier. It was a bit technical too. The third round was with senior members of the team which was also a good discussion about problem solving and general technical questions. Fourth was again with the hiring manager and this was technical but nothing which cant be managed. It was very well organised and paced. The fifth round was with the senior management and consisted of behavioral kind of questions. The sixth was not a round but the best round of all where you are involved in offer discussion. Overall it was the best interview process i had in a company till date. Everyone was very cooperative and gave you enough room to explain yourself and they make sure you are comfortable. The HR team is very proactive and keeps you up to date on each step of the process.

Question 1
Technical questions regarding the tools and technologies i worked on earlier.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Unity (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2020
Interview
I was contacted by a Unity recruiter who asked me a few questions about my background and what I was looking for in my next role. I expressed interest and I was asked to complete an online screen (90 minutes). Subsequent to that I had another discussion with another recruiter about the role specifics and compensation and then I was scheduled for 4 hours of interviews. One with the unit director, one with a peer for another technical screen and two one on one system design interviews with peers. After that they were quick to extend an offer.
