I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Chattanooga, TN) in Oct 2015
Interview
I filled out a piece of paper with questions on it in a room full of other applicants and waited until we were called one by one up to a desk for a 2 minute overview of all the documents that needed to be turned in prior. I dressed in business professional and felt like an idiot when I realized that they were hiring first come first serve and anyone who could pass a drug test.

Question 1
Do you have any obligations that will prevent you from working 70 hours a week?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Raleigh, NC) in Oct 2014
Interview
Many job candidates preparing for an interview expect to sit down with a human resources person and talk one on one, since that's the traditional model. USPS host a group orientation with about 25-30 people. No real interview. Just description about the job, available tour schedules (3) and a tour of the plant.
