For the last couple of years I have been working in the service industry as a Server/Bartender. This has given me a whole new education on what it means to be hospitable and what being a leader truly means. In each of my service industry positions, I focused on providing excellent customer service while having multiple priorities on my plate. This includes, but is not limited to: cash handling, high-volume service, maintaining organization, and ensuring all patrons are safe/enjoying their experience. Currently, I am prioritizing accurate tabs and transactions while creating a fun and welcoming environment for all who enter the front door. I also stay knowledgeable about products and provide a clean environment for not only guests, but my co-workers too. At my previous job, along with what has been mentioned above, I provided training for new employees that included general customer service, product education, POS training/understanding, and the importance of accurate tabs/cash handling. Before the restaurant industry, I was in charge of the Ropes Department, as well as being a general counselor. I supervised group activities, lead team building activities, and ensured all safety protocols throughout my entire department. As a result, I have developed strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and multitasking skills that have formed me into the woman I am today.
