Target Sales Associate interview questions

Easy interview, standard interview questions, was offered the job on the spot. Was a long process though, two interviews took three weeks, took them a long time for them to get back to me.

First interview I could not make it. When I tried to reschedule, I kept getting a “i’ll look for your application and call you back.” but would never get a call back. So I reapplied and got a call back that day saying they were holding a hiring event the next couple days. So I made an appointment to come in the next day. It was seasonal which I was not aware of but told her I was still interested. Also I had said I wanted Saturdays off because we have my step daughter with us on weekends only and she said they would not hire me if I can’t work Saturdays, so I told her that I would. I was applying for fashion sales. I have a two year retail business degree from a fashion school and 10+ years of experience in customer service, retail, and fashion. The interview went well although she seemed super intense. I answered questions pretty good and related them to my experience. She told me they were interviewing a lot and would call me in the next two days. Well..as soon as I got home I see an email stating that they would not consider me for the role. I call the hr up and ask why and remind them that I CAN work Saturday’s. He says he can’t give me any information as he was not there but would let the girl know that I could work Saturdays. I’m pretty bummed I feel like she was just a cold person and didn’t like me for a personal reason. Who knows?
