The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Stony Brook, NY) in Aug 2009
Interview
Culture seemed aligned with my ethics, extensive process, I believe to weed out the weak. It consists of pre qualifying phone interviews before actually getting to a hiring manager. Seemed like a great corporation to work for. Mostly about your experience a background. Behavioral interview to follow, on certain situations such as employee relations, customer relations. Difficult situations that should arise and how to deal with them. Recruiters are very chipper and positive. I am not sure if they have the ability to hire or if they just pre qual so the decision maker does not waste there time. It took about 30 minutes each interview and waiting to hear results of decision. I am not sure of background checks or if they will offer the position.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Oct 2009

Interviewing was behavioral based. Wanted to know specific examples of what we had done in order to show that we were qualified for the position. Also did a skills test on the computer that was completed before the in-person interview. Interviewed with lots of people so be prepared to stay focused.

Question 1
When were you creative in a recent business experience?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Albuquerque, NM) in Aug 2007
Interview
I had recently graduated and was looking online for best companies to start a career. Target among others was one that I had found and decided to apply. After I applied I received a call to come in a take an assessment. The assessment was fairly easy. There were personality and IQ question which were easy. Within 2 weeks, I receive a call to come and interview. I interviewed with 3 store team leaders who asked question such as, 'tell me about a time when...?' If you are super bubbly and drop the hint that you were in a sorority/fraternity you will be hired immediatly. I was required to take a drug test and background test. After the interview process, I was invited to meet with the District Manager to discuss salary and the hiring process. Since I had decided to relocate to another city I was able to add more to my yearly salary. After the discussion I was hired.
