The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Aug 2008
Interview
I came in through a career fair where I went to school. You start with an interview on campus and then get invited to their district office if you pass through the first. Each interview is with two people, one asks questions and the other writes them down. You interview with a lot of people before finally getting an answer on an offer or not. All questions are based on previous work experiences.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Dec 2009
Interview
Initially talked to a recruiter at a career fair and emphasized my leadership experience. It seemed this was an important aspect of Target. They wanted to know what situations I have been a leader. The next step after the screening at the career fair was the first round of interviews, which consisted of behavioral style questions. Much of the emphasis of the questions was about leadership, conflict resolution, and working with coworkers. After this was an aptitude test, which was quite simple. Some scheduling questions, basic math, and "how would you hand this situation" questions. The final interview was held at a later date with another person, but was very similar questions to the first round interview.

Interview
Very Professional....Its found it difficult to feel them out even after being a retail store manager for another big box retailer for 12 years. I went into a store and asked to meet the store manager...very young guy. Im 40 and he was 22...Maybe. We clicked well and i gave him a copy of my resume. I applied online as well. took the online tests. Later, we scheduled a meeting for an interview...It went well. 2 weeks later i was scheduled a meeting with the regional manager. I did not get a call back. Mostly behavioral questions.....Example, tell us about a time you had to terminate someone, how did you handle it, what was the outcome.
