I got as far as the Final Assessment and I had a very positive experience. It was a more 'personal' process than with most other companies and the recruiter who I spoke to on the phone multiple times was friendly and very helpful. The final assessment stage was all done virtually (instead of physically attending an assessment centre) which lasted 2 hours. It was challenging but interesting! The first part consisted of a presentation and the second part was an interview with a chance to ask questions at the end. I received feedback within less than 24 hours! The feedback was very positive and useful. I do feel like Shell are looking for a complete package, however, rather than someone with potential. Feedback suggested that I showed evidence for 2 out of 3 of their values (community and environment) but not so much on profit-making. It's a shame because I am quick to learn and adaptable so feel like I could easily tick the box for their first value if they'd given me a chance!
