SAS Principal Project Manager - Infrastructure interview questions

Applied for the position and waited a month until I finally received a phone interview with a Principal PM and his Manager. The interview was typical, ended with the Principal indicating next steps would come from the recruiter. After hearing nothing for a week, I requested feedback, and next steps if any. Recruiter indicated that she had not heard back from the interviewers but would follow up. Three weeks later I still have not heard anything. I assume that they went with another candidate. I applied to a handful of other open positions, but hadn't heard anything after 3 months. Some of the positions were open for almost a year. It doesn't seem like there is a sense of urgency to fill their open positions so I withdraw the applications.
