I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in Jan 2024
Interview
Submitted application online.
- 2 weeks later Online tests
- 1 week later HR screening call - 15 minutes.
- Few days before problem solver - 15 min HR prep call
- Problem solver interview 1 week later - 45 min (problem solver c.25-35 min, then you can ask as many questions or have a discussion - dependent on the interviewers time)
- Few days before "Bar Raiser" interview - 15 min HR prep call
- "Bar Raiser" interview 1 week later - c.1 hour with a senior worker - general questions "walk me through your CV" "tell me a time..." "what was your contribution here...". "Why Revolut..." "Do you use Revolut...". However, the interviewer in my opinion was not prepared, didn't have on hand my CV I had applied with that gave actual context and details and in my opinion was just disinterested from the start.
Overall, it was a quick and straight forward process.
Remember, in the end, you are both interviewing each other to see if you are a fit for one-another.

Question 1
Problem Solving Round: They will give you a generic problem statement. Idea should be to go as you would solve a normal case study keeping in mind all the possible scenarios and not to miss anything. But Revolut case study Interview is different as I read reviews similar to my personal experience. Interviewer will always be in hurry and will not let you finish your thought process. You would think that I should cover all the case scenarios and have a holistic approach but interviewer already has a solution in mind and if you do not reach there ,you'll be rejected.
Following in my experience of Case study Interview;
- Interviewer looked busy and didn't want to go into much detail
- Found inaccuracy in the information provided. Used MECE framework to divide the problem and conveyed the same to interviewer where he denied some of the possible reasons and later wanted me to cover the same later in the solution.
- Interviewer could be 5-10 mins late but won't extend for you to complete even for a second as if they just want to get over with it
Recommendation - Apply only if you can afford to waste 5-6 round of interviews/discussions as there is a preparation call after each round.
