I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Red Bull in Jan 2025
Interview
Had the initial HM interview which was a mix of behavioral and technical (asked to work through a few theoretical problems - more so looking for analytical approach). Moved on to the case study round. Received data and objectives/questions to answer a week before the interview. In my opinion, the project was way too much for a 1 week turn-around. You can evaluate the technical capabilities of a candidate with a smaller/more constrained project. Presented for an hour in front of 3 team members. Silence for two weeks and then form rejection.

Question 1
Difference in linear vs logistic regression. What do the coefficients mean? What happens if you use a linear fit for logistic data. How would you evaluate the presence of red bull fridge in a store on sales?
I applied online. I interviewed at Red Bull (Salzburgo)
Interview
Technical interview:
- icebreaker
- very rigid fact based questions
- could do better with competency based questions
- imho the requirements were too broad for the niche use case they were

What was a recent ML paper that you found interesting?
I applied online. I interviewed at Red Bull in Mar 2024
Interview
Role was located in headquarters. Team lead was looking for data scientists, who could help with the analysis and increase of can sales. Very long process: I received an online video-recording task two weeks after I applied. Just some introduction and motivation stuff. Then, two weeks of silence. Then, technical interview with the manager. Went pretty smoothly but got rejected. When asked for reasons, got a traditional answer that they have no time to give personal feedback. Theoretically, after technical interview I should have received a project and then do a 1.5h presentation. A company has good benefits and helps with relocation though, so I was very upset to be rejected :D

Question 1
how to figure out duplicates in the dataset of stores. What is logistic and linear regression. Which tests are used in linear regression for coefficients. Some question on expected values - simple probability multiplication. How to measure impact of a redbull freezer in the grocery store when we know exactly when it was set there.
