Two interviews with the manager and supervisor as well as an assessment on the shopfloor in the womens wear and childrenswear department during lunch hours. I was also assessed on how I would answer difficult questions to customers and organising the queues for the fitting rooms.

I had to complete an online application which consisted of a questionnaire then was invited to interview. Interview was competency based questions followed by a task on shop floor. The senario I was given was to select a present for someone buying a wedding present.

Interview
The interview process for a retail assistant position at Next was thorough and engaging. It included a combination of individual and group interviews, assessing customer service skills and product knowledge. Despite a positive experience, I unfortunately did not secure the position.
