I applied online. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods
Interview
Very easy interview. One on one with manager with him real explaining the ins and outs of working at Modells. Questions were asked of how I would respond to a situation but no questions really that were to difficult to think about. Really just being yourself and explaining why you applied for the job and what makes you qualified can be your best bet at potentially landing the job.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods
Interview
The interview was a one on one session with a hiring manager. It entailed describing the job functions, the history of Modells, specific procedures, company-wide policies, compensation, etc. I was then asked about my experience in the industry, and reasons why I wanted to work at the store.
I had two interviews. I did extremely well on the test they give to screen your customer service skills. The manager told me she did not want to hire me because I planned to go away for college after the summer. Absolutely ridiculous. This is Modell's, not a career aspirated company.
