Question 1
What do you know about modells? Which previous employer did you like the most/least? Which employer had high customer service standards? What did your old manager teach you?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (New York, NY) in Jun 2013
Interview
Went in for an interview for a sales associate position. Arrived a couple minutes early and they told me give give them a few minutes. That turned in 15 minutes. Finally went in for the interview they asked general questions and scenario questions. They also asked question relating to sports which I follow none of but that was okay. Overall the interview went very well. Something I did not like however was they never followed up with me their decision and I just assumed they did not hire me because I would be going back to school in 2 months and they were not looking for a seasonal person.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods in Jul 2014
Interview
Applied online one morning to a few locations. A few hours later I was called and asked to come in the next day for an interview. Went for the interview with a manager who asked the basic questions, why modell's? Etc. told me what they were looking for and what they needed new hires to do. I told the manager I could do that. Then she told me to come the next day for the orientation. So basically I was hired on the spot.
