I applied online. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Brooklyn, NY) in Sep 2015
Interview
Well I applied at the ending of August and I think I put the wrong phone number so they contacted me via email. I called and she scheduled me an interview, I entered on a tuesday and she asked me the basic questions. Why do you want to work here? Describe yourself. If I had to contact your jobs in the past what would they tell me about you? After I killed them with smiles and my personality she told me I did well and to come in tomorrow for a second interview with another manager and that it might be more intense, I went back in and it was asked me more difficult questions. But I guess I did well and he told me to come in for the the paper work.. I did today and I guess she will call me for when I am put on the schedule. Don't be nervous or shy speak up and you'll do well.. Talk their head off.

Interview
Straightforward, just an interview with the general manager to discuss experience and scheduling / availability. They were able to answer my questions and gave me a response just a few days later.
Light and straight forward process. Not bad for an entry level job. Be aware you will be on your feet at all times. Know how to calculate basic money math and deals

Interview
Interviewer discussed the company's history with me and then asked me questions about sports and the job itself. They also asked me if I had ever shopped at Modell's before.
