I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Microsoft (Redmond, WA) in Mar 2019
Interview
On campus interview. They asked me a question that wasn’t exactly possible, so it was kind of a stress interview. They then flew me out to the HQ for a couple of days. It was a really nice experience. For one day they had me do 3 or 4 interviews at HQ.

Interview
The interviewer didn't ask about any of my backgrounds and started throwing strange questions, including linear algebra, server-side concepts, front-end design. Very impatient and unfriendly person, seems wanted the interview as soon as possible hence giving me some random questions

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Microsoft (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2018
Interview
Terrible. I felt that the interviewers were uninterested and unhappy - in general! Even as I met them did they seem completely uninterested. It really rubbed me the wrong way. During the coding interviews I saw two of them scrolling through Facebook. It sadly threw me off my game.
