I applied in-person. I interviewed at Kumon (Lake Oswego, OR) in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied in the center and was asked a few questions about the classes I was taking in high school right there. We also scheduled a working interview that day. The next week I came in and was trained by the other tutors, and officially hired soon after. It was an extremely casual process and I had no "real" interview.
I went and submitted my application at the center, and a few weeks later I got a call asking when I could start. On my first day, I just had to read through the Kumon handbook and the director asked a few basic questions. It was easy and relaxed, but not a real interview.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (South Orange, NJ) in Aug 2013
Interview
Mostly the owner explaining what the Kumon method was and talking about how this job would play a role in my life as a full time college student. There was an application to be filled out which was discusses. I was given the job on the spot. It was an easy process but I also feel I was a good applicant and deserved the position.
