During the interview the interviewer started with basic interview questions such as what I was currently doing, whether I was in school, etc. They asked me about my math skills and then verbally tested me by giving me some multiplication questions. I was then given 30 minutes to complete a few of the Kumon work booklets, which the interviewer graded as soon as I was done. I got two or three questions wrong but I was not penalized on it.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kumon
Interview
Went through behavioral and technical portions. Relatively easy behavioral portion, also went through math and reading tests. Math portion required preparation but definitely fair. Reading portion was much easier. Interviewer was also manager of the branch. Went through process pretty easily
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (New Brunswick, NJ) in Jan 2014
Interview
No interview. Just called and got the job. The interview was nonexistent. It was flim flam. Fugazi. The interview was as real as something that isn't real, namely a unicorn or dragon or some other such fictional creature of fiction, legend and myth. Reminds me of the Hero's journey, to be honest. The atonement with the father was more real than this interview (because the interview didn't happen)
